At the end of Fall 2018 came the trend that made the fashion world take a step back and reflect: Are we really going to wear oversized blazers? Something that isn’t tailored to our exact measurements? Yes!
Soon after the fall/winter 2018 shows, everyone was wearing oversized blazers just casually with any outfit. It became something that every brand was trying to recreate, both fast fashion and designer. It elevates any look, and takes your casual outfit to the next level but adding something most people see as “suiting.”
In my opinion, I think this trend has become more of a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. Fashion has changed so much, and if you’re going in for an interview, wearing a casual outfit with a blazer is okay to do. Before, you must be dressed in a tailored outfit when attending a formal event or interview. I paired my blazer with a plain white t-shirt, black denim shorts, Fila chunky sneakers, tall socks, a hat and a fanny pack. If you didn’t think the blazer was enough, add some accessories! Take that little jump to elevate your style even more with the perfect accessories.
